Machined Flanges and Mounting Plates
Faced and bored flanges, mounting plates and actuator adaptors, including ISO 5211 patterns, with the spigot register held concentric to the bore.
The work
The register does the work, not the bolt holes
A flange is usually judged on its bolt circle and rarely fails there. What decides whether it seals is the spigot register, the flatness of the face and the finish across it. Facing and boring happen in the same clamping so the register stays concentric with the bore it locates, and the bolt pattern is put down from the same datum rather than from a second setup.
- Materials
- Carbon and alloy steels, stainless including 304, 316 and duplex, aluminium alloys, and cast or forged blanks supplied through the vendor base.
- Size range
- Turned to 315 mm diameter with 106 mm through the spindle, larger discs on the turning centres. Prismatic and multi-face work to 600 x 500 x 500 mm.
- Features handled
- Bolt circles and clearance holes, spigot and recess registers, faced sealing surfaces, O-ring grooves, tapped holes, and ISO 5211 actuator mounting patterns.
- Inspection
- Bolt hole true position and register concentricity on the CMM against the drawing datums. Face finish on the Mitutoyo SJ-410. O-ring groove profile on the Mahr MarSurf contour tester.
Accuracy
Made to the drawing, proved against it

Certification route
Anicon holds ISO 9001:2015. Where a part calls for IATF 16949 it is supplied through Versatile Equipments Pvt Ltd, certified to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015. Anicon’s own IATF certification is in progress.
