Machined Brackets and Housings
Machined castings, fabrications and brackets, with hole patterns held to true position against the drawing datums.

The work
Flat, square, and located where the drawing says
Brackets look forgiving and are not. Most arrive as castings or fabrications carrying stock that moves the moment it is cut, so the first operation establishes a datum the rest of the part is built from, rather than chasing as-cast surfaces around and hoping the pattern lands. On the horizontal centre several faces are finished in one clamping, which is what keeps a hole pattern true to the mounting face.
- Materials
- Grey and ductile iron castings, steel fabrications, aluminium alloys, and bar stock where the quantity suits it.
- Size range
- 600 x 500 x 500 mm on the horizontal centre, 1200 x 450 x 450 mm on the vertical centres.
- Features handled
- Datum faces, bored and reamed bushes and dowel holes, tapped mounting patterns, spot faces, milled slots and pads, and cross drilling.
- Inspection
- True position of hole patterns on the CMM taken against the drawing datums rather than against a convenient edge. Flatness and squareness on the CMM.
Accuracy
Made to the drawing, proved against it
Tell us at enquiry stage which characteristic decides the part. We will confirm capability against that one rather than quote a general figure and hope.
Certification route
Anicon holds ISO 9001:2015. Where a part calls for IATF 16949 it is supplied through Versatile Equipments Pvt Ltd, certified to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015. Anicon’s own IATF certification is in progress.
